Do I need to assemble my bed?
Yes, to keep delivery costs low we opted for a flat pack system, all you need to assemble is a screwdriver and a helper.
Are you based in the UK?
Yes we are. We manufacture our beds in house in our North Yorkshire workshop.
Does The Wooden Bed Company manufacture in house?
Yes, everything is handmade by us in our North Yorkshire based workshop.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to get orders into production in a few days and have it dispatched in around a week. We aim to deliver all orders within 2 weeks.
This can change during busy periods. You can see a more accurate estimated dispatch time in the checkout or the top banner of our website.
How will my bed be delivered?
We use a specialist national courier who will deliver your bed in two or three boxes.
Are you environmentally friendly?
The Wooden Bed Company only manufacture 100% FSC certified, sustainable timber. This means timber that is used to build your bed is part of sustainable forestry management where trees are constantly being replanted. We’re part of Ecologi tree planting scheme where we plant 5 trees for every bed purchased. We’ve also achieved 0% wood waste throughout our entire manufacturing process. Do you offer colour samples
Yes, we offer colour samples for £1 each. You can order colour samples here.
Do you accept returns?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, providing no custom alterations have been made at the time of order. It is the customers responsibility to arrange return and it should be unused and in its original packaging. Please get in touch with us to start the returns process.
Do you offer bespoke sizes?
Yes, we are happy to make our beds to your bespoke sizes to help fit in with your room. Please just send us an email and we will be happy to provide a quote.
